Hello!

I’m Caitlyn (she/her), a Clinical Psychologist, Supervisor, and dog-mum.

When not in the office I can be found hanging out with my anxiously attached therapy dog, Hugo, getting outdoors, or playing social sport in a determined attempt to relive my glory days.

A little about me…

My practice is tailored to every individual, but I am always guided by an understanding of human function and trauma-informed principles.

I draw flexibly from a range of modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches and Motivational Interviewing. With a background in sport, and an appreciation of the limits of purely cognitive work, I also incorporate somatic (mind-body) approaches where helpful.

My approach

With over 10 years’ experience within Australia and overseas, I have worked in hospitals, schools, private practice, and alongside elite sporting organisations. I have supported clients across the lifespan with concerns ranging from general wellbeing to complex mental health presentations, including eating disorders. I have a particular interest in anxiety, especially among athletes, and working alongside young adults in the LGBTQIA+ community.

I’m registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and registered with Medicare under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative.
